We will be delivering a three pronged approach to financial literacy.  Juniors and seniors will be invited to participate in a real world financial simulation game; a small group of 15 to 20 high school aged youth will participate in a 6 to 8 week intensive financial training course; and, the youth who complete the training course will develop and deliver a basic training program/game to younger students and/or will share the information they learned with their peers.

Our project is focused on building the financial literacy of older teens, ages 16-18.  We are doing that by providing a large scale simulation game to juniors and seniors in the three high schools in our county.  In addition, we will provide more intensive training to a smaller group of teens where they will learn more in depth about things like budgeting, saving, investing, paying for college, insurance, etc.  Finally we will ask the intensive training group to teach some part of what they learned to their peers or younger students, helping to reinforce what they have learned.
